Actual fashion / music content from the Kid 606 show in San francisco last
friday. Kid 606 played a great remix of 'sandwiches' by the detroit grand
pubahs which the crowd enjoyed. He looked simply fabulous in a delightful
ensemble of sweater and jeans haloed in blue light, but i thought maybe this
show needs more visuals ala coldcut. He then played some other noisy stuff
which was quite nice. Sorry I don't have a playlist or names of tracks.
People were seen in Parkas with furry hoods surprisingly turned down, they were
anoraks/ trainspotters digging kid 606 dressed as you would imagine them. A man
was seen in a "Lords of Acid" t-shirt (the irony was duly noted) and a woman
wearing an interesting dress that looked as though she got it from the liquid
sky movie wardrobe. There were some androgenous individuals in white plastic
suits but i think they belonged to the Spoonbender contingent as they looked
like a Gary Numan / Human League / Bowie's Thin White Duke kinda posse, they
were frightfully tall and skinny....
